Santana golf course near Fuengirola
Santana Golf has an excellent lay out and is in a perfect situation and if considered to be a superb golf course. The course was built in 2003 and is located within the Mijas Golf Valley in the Costa del Sol. It has level ground which is well established, the fairways have a good width, the green are spread out and there is a pathway which meanders through avocado trees.
Santana Golf has a stream running through it and has two rivers either side of the course. The natural lay of the land has been adhered to, making for superb golf, as it is situated just a short distance from the main roadway, the coast, and accommodation in Mijas and Fuengirola.
The course has mature avocado trees dotted around, with well established plants, which confirms the golfers’ impression of a well maintained club.
The course covers 6220 yards, has par 72 and there are no slope details. It should be noted that the course lengths have been confirmed in yards and from the yellow tees.
Santana Golf Club is about fifteen minutes drive from Fuengirola and three quarters of an hour from Puerto Banus.
