Parador golf course on the Costa del Sol

The Parador was created by Tom Simpson who also created both the Muirfield course and the Turnberry course in the United Kingdom. The course is easy going, being relatively flat, the fairways have a good width to them and are edged with olive trees, pine trees and olive trees. The course is also dotted with hibiscus and oleander plants which add a splash of colour to the greens and fairways.

The course is par 72, consisting of par 5s, par 4s and par 3s. Being built in 1925, Parador was the first of its kind in the Costa del Sol and has presented the Turespania Masters (PGA European Tour), the winner of which was Vijay Singh. It presented the cup again in 1999 and that year the winner was Spanish born Miguel Angel Jimenez.

Parador offers a putting green and driving range and it situated in the middle of Malaga and Torremolinos and not too far from Malaga Airport as well as being noticeably signposted on the N-340.

The course covers 6040 yards, has par 72, there is no slope level information. It should be noted that the course lengths have been confirmed in yards and from the yellow tees.

Parador is about quarter of an hours drive from Fuengirola and forty minutes from Puerto Banus.
