Colonial Invitational Scores

Over the years at the Colonial Country Club their has been some indifferent scores which have enabled golfers to take home the winners cheque and colonial invitational trophy.

The lowest ever winning score after 72 holes has been 261, both in 2003 and 2005 American Kenny Penny has played some brilliant golf. In 2003 he won by 7 clear shots and in 2005 8 clear shots.

The largest number of shots after 72 holes for a golfer to walk away a winner was in 1959 when Ben Hogan shot 285 a long side Fred Hawkins. Hogan then proceeded to beat Hawkins in a play off.

As you can see over the years their has been a difference in 25 shots between winners, which in any tournament is massive.
